Dominic Pace just landed his first top billed role on the SyFy Channel in “Megalodon”. Pace will star as head of the U.S. Navy Captain Jack Streeper. His Co Star, Michael Madsen, will play Admiral King as they both get a little more than they bargained for out in the Pacific. The SyFy Thriller will put Pace against the Russian Navy, while dealing with a 150 foot shark. Megalodon, directed by James Thomas, is set for release on the SyFy channel this August.
Dominic is most recognized from guest starring roles Superstore (recurring role, NBC), NYPD Blue (ABC), The District (CBS), Desperate Housewives (ABC), and Navy:NCIS. He also recently booked strong supporting roles in two Feature Films on Amazon, (Ernie and Cerbie/The Midnight Man).
When you look through actor Dominic Pace's IMDb page, you can see and feel the hard journey of man who came to Hollywood from New York with grit and determination. When Pace was 18, he decided to leave Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY after his freshman year. Armed with only a copy of a Backstage and Variety Trade, Pace enrolled at The William Esper Studio where he studied under Terry Knickerbocker for two years. Knickerbocker has trained some of the modern greats, such as Sam Rockwell, Emmy Rossum, and Josh Charles. "He spoke softly but never padded his notes" says Pace. "He told it like it was and I really appreciated that. It truly gave me the chops to get out to audition world and stay resilient for many years."
